RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a  PSR (PsychoSocial Rehabilitation) Van Driver/ Program Assistant at our Harriman, TN, location.  This position will be scheduled for 3 days per week with the total number of hours worked not to exceed 19.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred.  Experience working with persons who are severely and persistently mentally ill preferred.  Computer proficiency preferred- particularly in Excel, but also with the capability of learning our electronic health record. Other preferred, but not required, skills include group leadership, food service, teaching practical food service skills, and providing corresponding documentation.  Valid Tennessee driver’s license and safe driving record required.

JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for providing assistance to consumers with transportation to members not served by public transportation and will also provide support for daily recreational and therapeutic activities; program activities; individual and group projects or activities based on individual treatment goals; carry-through of overall program goals in his/her respective county as directed by the Program Coordinator.
