RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full time Residential Assistant / Meal Planner.  The schedule will be 6:45am-3pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent is required; experience in residential facilities and/or mental health is preferred. Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license and a safe driving record.

JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for the supervision and safety of all residents in a 10 bed group home for individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Residential Assistants offer daily training to each resident on Activities of Daily Living such as cooking, cleaning and hygiene, as well as distribute medications and ensure that the home is maintained in the manner required by licensure. Additionally, the Meal Planner plans meals and does the shopping according to budgetary and dietary guidelines for all group homes.
