RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time (20 hrs/wk) Infection Preventionist.  Responsibilities include both infection control and employee health; schedule is flexible within regular business hours.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and possess a license (LPN or RN) issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. A minimum of two years of nursing experience and a working knowledge of epidemiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques, to include Standard Precautions. Psychiatric/ mental health experience is preferred. Computer skills required, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.  Must be a quick learner with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

This position combines management of the Infection Prevention Program and delivery of Employee Health Services.  Related job functions include some staff education.
