RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time RV Cares Specialist or Team Lead.

One of the following is required: Master’s degree in social services, LADAC, LPN or RN, OR an equivalent combination of experience and education. Other requirements include: good organization and time management skills; documented safe driving record; and the ability to work independently while interacting within a multidisciplinary team environment.  Two years of professional experience working with the chemically addicted preferred.


The RV Cares Specialist or Team Lead is responsible for implementing the goals of the RV Cares program under the Ryan White grant.  This includes program facilitation for program members;  securing a full array of alcohol and drug/co-occurring services with an insight into HIV; promoting and maintaining positive community referral practices with the HIV Planning Counsel, Medical Case Managers; A/D group work facilitation.   The Specialist or Team Lead must maintain current knowledge and education regarding Relapse Prevention/Early Recovery Skill, State and Federal Entitlement enrichment, and Ryan White Part B standards of care.  The Team Lead is responsible for direct supervision of all other RV Cares employees including RV Cares Nurse and/or RV Cares Case Manager, day-to-day management of the RV Cares program, and providing backup to the STOP Program Manager as needed.
