RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a part-time Licensed Psychologist.  The ideal candidate will work 16-20 hours per week in our Harriman or Oak Ridge office during regular Monday-Friday business hours.  The exact schedule is negotiable.

REQUIREMENTS

Doctoral Degree in Psychology (i.e. PhD) and Licensed by the TN Board of Examiners in Psychology with Mental Health Service Provider designation. Minimum of four years experience working with a mental health program. Forensic specialty preferred, but training will be provided for certification for the right candidate.  Note that the forensic specialty requires certification by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as well as routine two year certification renewals to remain certified to provide forensic evaluations.

JOB DUTIES

Conduct outpatient forensic evaluations for juveniles and adults.  Supervise forensic examiners conducting competency training.  Maintain required documentation.  Provide detailed summaries to courts.  Provide expert testimony in court as needed.  Maintain open communication with courts, regional entities, and TDMHSAS.
