Description

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time (35 hrs/wk) Research Associate.  This position will be part of the Re-entry Program for Offenders.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in social services (social work, psychology, counseling, etc); good organization and time management skills; documented safe driving record; and the ability to work independently while interacting within a multidisciplinary team environment.  Two years of professional experience working with the co-occurring population &/or criminal justice system preferred. The Research Associate will locate, contact and interview research participants using systematic and organized methods.  Will maintain clear and accurate tracking and locating records; communicate with research participants as part of interview scheduling process; schedule interviews efficiently and ensure their timely completion; interview participants in a professional and confidential manner; code interview data and enter clinical assessment data promptly; maintain files related to subject status and data collection; participate in team activities such as weekly staff meetings, quality assurance meetings and joint trouble-shooting sessions; assist in the preparation of reports; and assist with other tasks as needed in the research project. 

JOB DUTIES

The Research Associate is responsible for the day-to-day data management, administration of baseline and follow-up interviews, management of process information, and coordination of follow-up efforts to the Ridgeview Re-entry Program.
