RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a PRN (as needed) Inpatient Unit RN.  A signing bonus of $500 is available for external candidates only, which will be paid on your first payroll check.

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a degree or diploma from a college or an accredited school of nursing; possess a current unrestricted license issued by the Tennessee Board of Nursing; and demonstrate capacity to work effectively in a therapeutic relationship with individuals and groups. A minimum of one year psychiatric nursing experience preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and must be able to be obtain certification in CPR and CPI.

JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care delivered to adult and geriatric patients on the inpatient unit. The registered nurse, as the team leader, provides immediate direction to the other nursing team members.
