RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center headquartered in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant or LPN to support our Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner in Jamestown, TN, on Wednesdays, 8:30am-4:30pm. 

Interested in full-time hours?  We have the ability to offer more hours if you're interested in traveling to our other locations on other days of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Medical Assistant must have Medical Assistant training and certification from an accredited program with a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.  Must have valid driver's license and a safe driving history.  Must be able to become CPR certified within 90 days of employment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Medical Assistant assists the Medication Management provider in a variety of tasks including vital signs, gathering information, calling in prescriptions, patient education, electronic health record entry, administering IM injections, and other tasks as assigned.  The Medical Assistant reports directly to the Nurse Manager of the Medication Management department.
