RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Director of Inpatient Psychiatric Unit with our 24 hours per day, 7 days per week inpatient unit. REQUIREMENTS

BS Nursing required, MS Nursing strongly preferred. Current TN RN license required. 3+ years psychiatric mental health inpatient registered nurse experience required. 5+ years registered nurse experience and 5+ years management experience in a psychiatric mental health inpatient setting are strongly preferred.

JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for the 24-hour operational management of a 16 bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit. This includes the oversight of all clinical staff assigned to the unit, along with the supervision, direction, and support of the nurse staff on the unit. Position has responsibility to ensure all applicable standards are met, that staff competency requirements are current, training needs are addressed, incidents are investigated, reports are completed. Has significant responsibility for integrating various components of program.
