RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Human Resources Specialist. This position will be 40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma with job-relevant experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.  Prefer administrative experience in a human resources office within a healthcare setting, but will train the right person.  

The ideal Human Resources Specialist will be:

• Detail Oriented- ensure multiple complex tasks, including personnel/benefits administration and credentialing, are completed in compliance with standards
• Organized- complete recurring tasks independently and on time
• Friendly- welcome multiple potential new staff and new hires each week to assist with paperwork
• Flexible- adjust to new tasks or requirements as needed, especially during external audits
• Discreet- maintain confidentiality as legally and ethically required
• Computer Proficient- fully utilize software including MS Office, our personnel management program, and external sites used for benefits and workers' comp administration
• Confident- lead training sessions following existing curriculum

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including both regular responsibilities and project-oriented tasks, while fostering an environment focused on people as a priority.  This is our purpose and our role in supporting Ridgeview's mission of Hope, Healing, and Recovery.
