RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has 2 bachelor's level openings for the position of Rural Fatherhood Program Coordinator to launch a new grant-based program designed to equip fathers with the on-the-ground tools, guidance, and support they need to be effective and nurturing parents. One position will cover Anderson County, Anderson County jail, and Roane County. The other position will cover Morgan, Scott, and Fentress Counties.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a social sciences or mental health field, especially psychology and social work, or a Bachelor’s degree that includes 15+ credit hours of relevant courses on transcript with relevant training and supervision being provided after hire. Prefer experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Must maintain a valid TN driver’s license and a safe driving record. Position requires a self-starter with excellent time management and leadership skills. Experience working with parents with children is preferred.
JOB DUTIES
The Rural Fatherhood Program is designed to equip fathers with the on-the-ground tools, guidance, and support they need to be effective and nurturing parents. The Fatherhood Coach is responsible for conducting an evidence-based fatherhood parenting program, peer support groups, and linkage to wrap-around services for fathers involved in the program. The Fatherhood Coach is directly supervised by the Master’s level Fatherhood Program Coordinator. The Rural Fatherhood Program covers a seven-county area divided into three separate Fatherhood Teams, and some travel is required.
