Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center, is expanding our school-based therapy program in Anderson County.  The School Based Therapist role is a 10-month position with a pro-rated salary.

Ridgeview has served the local Anderson, Roane, Morgan, Campbell, and Scott county communities for over 60 years and offers a friendly work environment where staff work together to provide high quality behavioral health services through prevention, treatment of mental illness and substance abuse, and support to improve the overall health, wellbeing, recovery, and hope of the people we serve. 

REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.  Experience in a school setting preferred.

JOB DUTIES

STAR (Students Together Advancing Resiliency) School-Based Therapist is a 10-month, school-based outpatient therapist position that will conduct assessments, individual, family and group sessions at designated school locations.  Responsible for the delivery of outpatient clinical services, consisting of assessment, diagnosis and treatment (individual, family and group sessions) in a school-based setting.  Serve as a mental health liaison between Ridgeview, school staff, student, families and the community.
