Description
Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an opening for a full-time, Residential Assistant in our Supervised Residential 24/7 home in Oak Ridge, TN. This position is a floater, filling in on various shifts as needed, for a total of 40 hours per week. The right candidate will be available to complete required trainings and have a flexible schedule to be able to fill in for regular staff during vacations or sick time.

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent is required; experience in residential facilities and/or mental health is preferred. Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license and a safe driving record.
JOB DUTIES
This position is primarily responsible for the supervision and safety of all residents in a 10 bed group home for individuals with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness. Residential assistants are required to offer daily training to each resident on Activities of Daily Living such as cooking, cleaning and hygiene, as well as distribute medications and ensure that the home is maintained in the manner required by licensure.
