RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Supported Employment Specialist primarily serving Campbell and Scott Counties.

A Bachelor's degree or higher is required. Two+ years of experience in mental health or a related field is preferred. Experience with persons having mental illness is desirable. Written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office is required. Must be able to motivate, be creative and responsive to clients’ employment interests, and have the ability to assist clients with all employment needs. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to establish and maintain relationships through positive role modeling. This position will require periodic on-the-job coaching in community employment settings.
This position is responsible for developing supportive employment opportunities with persons with mental illness by participating in an integrated care setting and providing on-going employment supports.
