Description
Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Regional Housing Coordinator.
Ridgeview has served the local Anderson, Roane, Morgan, Campbell, and Scott county communities for over 60 years and offers a friendly work environment where staff work together to provide high quality behavioral health services through prevention, treatment of mental illness and substance abuse, and support to improve the overall health, wellbeing, recovery, and hope of the people we serve.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field with three years verifiable housing, grant writing and/or mental health experience; the ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects; willingness to travel regularly within a 16-county East Tennessee region (based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee).
JOB DUTIES
This position works in conjunction with the TDMH Office of Housing Planning and Development; conducts educational and technical assistance outreach meetings with community planners in order to promote permanent housing options and supportive services for persons with mental illness and co-occurring disorders and to prevent or end the rising incidence of homelessness in the region.
