Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Mobile Crisis Clinician (40 hrs/wk). The right candidate must be flexible to work different shifts and any day of the week, including weekends and the overnight shift when needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling. Must possess and maintain a valid TN driver's license, a safe driving record, and be insurable through Ridgeview's carrier. LMSW or temporary LPC license preferred with expectation to obtain Mandatory Prescreening Agent designation upon hire. Excellent verbal and written skills required. Knowledge of DSM5 criteria and ability to determine preliminary mental health diagnosis.

JOB DUTIES
Provides assessment of adults experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Determines crisis needs, crisis intervention, telephone consultation, linkage with community resources, and pre-screening admissions of emergency hospital commitments. Follows-up to ensure appropriate service is available. Driving and travel in Ridgeview’s catchment area is required. Positive interaction and communication with community agencies and other public relations activities essential.
