RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee has an immediate opening for a Full-time Office Assistant at our Lafollette location.

Minimum high school graduate or equivalent, with skills in filing, data entry and customer service. One-two years prior medical office/hospital experience required. Must possess excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills; must complete work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of accuracy. Must exercise discretion and handle confidential information appropriately. Must be familiar with the use of all office equipment. Must be available to work regularly scheduled hours.
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining complete and accurate medical records at this location. Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and medical record policy to ensure that records meet standards and requirements. Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients. Must maintain working knowledge of data entry requirements to provide backup coverage for Office Coordinator as needs arise.
