Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an opening for a Full-Time (40 hrs/week), Outpatient Therapist specializing in Substance Abuse. This position is based out of the main center and has responsibility for the program throughout the Ridgeview catchment area. Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. Prefer 1+ years' experience working with clients suffering with substance use issues. Prefer group therapy skills as well, minimum one year previous experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with people from differing backgrounds and cultures.

JOB DUTIES
*Coordination with all other clinic staff
*Compliance with agency guidelines and state/federal standards
*Efficiency focus and attention to access needs for all potential clients
*Coordinates with care team providing services to individuals suffering with co –occurring issues specific to a mother/infant program
*Provides group and individual therapy
*For Group oversight – ensures a role of a positive agent of change through a structured program; keeps current with national trends and the needs for the community; integrates multiple variables in a coherent clinical process
