Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Mobile Crisis Clinician. The position will provide great experience for a professional who wants to work with a broad range of mental health and/or substance abuse issues. The standard schedule will be overnights or a 3 month rotation of evenings/overnights, depending on the preferences of the right candidate.  Professional licensure supervision is provided.

REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling. Must possess and maintain a valid TN driver's license and a safe driving record. LMSW/temporary LPC license preferred or the ability to obtain one of these licenses within a 6 month time frame.  The candidate will be expected to obtain Mandatory Prescreening Agent (MPA) designation upon hire or when the license is obtained; training is provided. A bonus is awarded once the MPA designation has been confirmed.  Excellent verbal and written skills required. Knowledge of DSM5 criteria and ability to determine preliminary mental health diagnosis.

JOB DUTIES
Provides assessment of adults experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Determines crisis needs, crisis intervention, telephone consultation, linkage with community resources, and pre-screening admissions of emergency hospital commitments. Follows-up to ensure appropriate service is available. Driving and travel in Ridgeview’s catchment area is required. A car is provided.  Positive interaction and communication with community agencies and other public relations activities essential.
