Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, a not-for-profit community mental health center, based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Supervised Residential Program Manager (40 hrs/wk).

REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree with license or license eligible preferred; experience working with the severely and chronically mentally ill is required.  Clinical skills in observation and assessment, crisis intervention and programmatic development are required. Demonstration of leadership ability, including strong communication skills (including verbal and written) is imperative.  Strong computer and documentation skills are required.

JOB DUTIES
The Manager of Residential Services is responsible for managing the Supervised Residential Housing needs of the severely and persistently mentally ill and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for a population that is often left behind. This vital leadership role combines a need for both clinical and administrative abilities and allows for contact with both staff and clients seeking recovery.  Major responsibilities include discharge planning, assessments, admission collaboration, programmatic development, supervision of the Residential Facilities Manager. Provides management support of Residential Assistants through the Facilities Manager. Key to this position is the development of strong working relationships with staff, hospitals, community agencies, referring agencies, and managed care companies.
